A Minnesota couple have solved the problem of how to include every family member and friend in their wedding celebrations - even if they are deceased.
Diane Waller and Randy Kjarland exchanged vows in front of their parents' graves on Saturday.
About sixty living guests also attended the ceremony.
'Some people think it's a joke, but it's actually going to be very respectful of why we're there,' Mr Kjarland told the Austin Daily Herald.
'Other people, when they hear our story, have cried,' he said.
The couple said they got the idea for their original wedding venue because their parents had always approved of the couple - since they first got together as teenagers.
After parting ways, both married, but thirty-five years found themselves divorced.
They met again and fell in love.
