He also said that marriage equality victories will bring God's judgment on America for "backing evil." He has described the LGBT community as "perverse" and that there is a link between homosexuality and pedophilia. He warns that "homosexuality will lead to an implosion of our country."...

...Jeffress immediately validated Bill with commentary about how preachers, who are afraid of legal controversy, should stop "caving" to the ACLU (music to Bill's ears) and "fight for their liberties." He also claimed the popular Christian image of Jesus, as a peaceful "wimp," is bogus...
