The consumer magazine asked its panel of wine experts who chose its Best Buy Champagnes and sparkling wines to conduct a blind taste test of a total of 10 non-alcoholic wines.
Overall, the testers thought the drinks lack the richness, body and complexity of wine, have a sticky texture 'more like a breakfast juice' and 'really don't taste like wine'.
