Former Republican Gov. Arne Carlson has endorsed the campaign of yet another Democrat, throwing his support behind hotelier Jim Graves in his bid against Republican U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann in the 6th Congressional District.

"When I look at Jim Graves, I see a man who to a large extent epitomizes the American Dream. (Congress) needs more entrepreneurs. (Jim) has the kind of background that Congress frankly needs," Carlson said in his endorsement speech in St. Cloud on Tuesday, Oct. 23. "We have a lot of people ... who talk about growing jobs, but very few who ever did. Jim Graves knows how to do it."
