Segregated class reunions are actually nothing new for the St. Martinville Senior High School Class of 1973, having been a tradition for nearly four decades. But this year, the class was finally set to make some progress (albeit way overdue), as the reunion was supposed to be a non-segregated event. (Welcome to the latter half of the 20th century, maybe?)

And yet, somehow, a letter inviting only white graduates to a reunion after-party was still sent out.
