What a Conservative coincidence!

The folks at the aptly named Right Wing News put out their fourth annual 20 Hottest Conservative Women in The New Media on the same day that the grossly misnamed Washington Times published its ranking of the Top 30 Hottest Political Women of 2012.

Right Wing News called on a group of nine chauvinists 'judges' to compile and rank its list: the site's publisher John Hawkins, Breitbart columnist Lee Stranahan, FOX News contributor Steven Crowder, Quin Hillyer from the American Spectator, Dustin Stockton of The Tea Party.net, Erik Telford from the Franklin Center, John Hinderaker at Power Line Blog, Eric Morris of Misfit Politics, and Ali Akbar from something called Vice and Victory.

Led by Hawkins -- who wrote such clear and concise prose as,

The judges voted on a large selection of contestants. The judges voted on over 40 contestants

and who outlined such stringent standards as,

Do keep in mind that this list only covers active women in the new media. That means no Fox News babes, no congressional aides, and no think tankers — unless they have a new media presence as well.

I'm not sure why certain numbers are missing, while others are doubled, as with nine 'judges' sitting on the bench, so to speak, ties should not have occured. Perhaps in an effort to be fair and balanced some of these 'justices' recused themselves on certain candidates.

Well, onto the Washington Times list, which has far fewer photos and much more drivel commentary.

This ranking was developed by one man alone: neoconservative blogger, author and comic, Eric Golub. The W.T. included a link to the full version of the article that appears on Golub's blog, where it also has a slightly different title: The Top 120 Political Yummy Bouncies of 2012. On that site he elegantly elucidates the difference between the two versions:

Technically this is not much different from listing the top 30 hottest political women, except that the focus is on their T and A.

At least he was honest there.

So, we have only one person who gets blame credit for coming up with this cataloging of women from around the world into top-ten hottest Liberals, Centrists, and Conservatives. In addition to his 2012 list he offers several special mentions, including two nauseatingly false particularly flattering ones:

some women have been left off of the list to give others who are less deserving a chance. Had Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann won the nomination, I would have to put them in the top spot. Their combination of brains and beauty deserves to be on the list, but they will be punished for being too deserving.

Who knows why he didn't just give them a 'lifetime award' as he did Shannen Doherty.

Golub's lineup may be correctly numbered, but it did include quite a few ties, which resulted in there actually being more than thirty names on the list of the Top 30 Hottest Political Women of 2012. Here they are:

Well, so much for Conservatives and numbers adding up.

Perhaps these particular Right Wingers should stick to what they obviously do best: fantasizing.
