Now we’re getting a better idea of how ”Today” will counter Katie Couric’s weeklong stint as co-host of “Good Morning America” next week.
“Today” will bring on former Gov. Sarah Palin as co-host on Tuesday. Lester Holt announced Palin’s visit this morning on the NBC broadcast. The “Today” website says that Palin will “reveal a different side of her than you’ve seen before.”
How’s that for counterprogramming?
...“Today” and “GMA” are locked in a tight ratings race. But No. 3 “CBS This Morning” is turning up the heat, too. On Monday, the CBS show will feature an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
