Nicolle Wallace, a McCain staffer who handled Palin, described the movie ['Game Change'] as "true enough to make me squirm" on ABC's "This Week."
"This is a movie about the vast gray area where 99 percent of our politics actually takes place," Wallace told George Stephanopoulos. "You're just feeling your way though a gray area and doing your best, and that campaign was one of those instances for me."
Clashes between Palin (played by Julianne Moore) and Wallace (portrayed by Sarah Paulson) are some of the most dramatic moments in the movie...
...McCain strategist Steve Schmidt (played by Woody Harrelson) told The Washington Post that the film was "the true story of what happened over those 10 weeks" of the 2008 campaign.
Schmidt also told the newspaper: "I regret playing a part in a process that yielded someone on the ticket who was not prepared to be president."
