Shannyn Moore to Sarah Palin: I Will Not Be Muzzled!

On the Fourth of July, when Americans everywhere were celebrating our most sacred national holiday with parades and barbeques, Governor Sarah Palin was busy having me, Shannyn Moore, declared an Enemy of the State.

In a rambling quasi-legal letter, the most powerful person in this state accused me of defaming her for pointing out the fact that there have been rumors, -rumors- of corruption, rumors that have been around for years.

Sarah Palin is a coward and a bully. What kind of politician attacks an ordinary American on the Fourth of July for speaking her mind? What’s wrong with her? The First Amendment was designed to protect people like me from the likes of people like her. Our American Revolution got rid of kings. And queens, too. Am I jacked-up? You betcha.

call her bluff shannyn, sarah evita is no pit bull, just a pipsqueak who just quit an elected office.

what the hell is really going on with the palin's? it must be a lot more than she wants us to believe.

i think her majestie's clock is at 14:59 and counting, and she knows it.

First of all- did her lawyer study law?

A defamation law suit against bloggers? Sarah Palin is a public figure, bloggers are not public figures or household names-please read the definition of defamation and slander, actually Sarah Palin and her lawyer singling out private individuals is an act of selection. Defamation is the intentional act to slander- when in fact people are expressing their emotions- thoughts, if they were "positive" or congratulations then the posts or comments would meet her "approval".

Are any people blogging commenting to take her position? If that were the case, then the posts would be considered defamation- and malicious with an intent to ruin her business or reputation, the outcome would be a possible "taking" of her government position.

I remember Sarah Palin stating "Barack Obama is palling around with terrorists" if that's not a malicious, intentional attack to ruin ones reputation and take their position (she was trying to sway public opinion and win his spot serving as a vice) then title me confused. I have yet to read about her associates whom she competes with as lodging a law suit.

I think Mrs. Palin wants to sell her story and is afraid of her sales going down- and, since when are politicians in the business of celebritizing their roles? I thought their job was to serve as an official, promotions were done to get elected.

People in the private sector who make their words seen in a public forum- such as blogs are writing what they see and think- they aren't published news articles- under a publishing company. And Sarah Palin/Clinton- (I named her that during the election because the republican ticket were trying to pawn her off as a Hillary replacement) gets a adverse reaction from people who don't like her self imposed views- such as discriminating against homosexuals or denying peoples rights to chose. See people in the former republican party seem to think they can decide for others what is and how others should live their lives and make decisions- often times based on religious belief. When in fact the laws specifically protect the public from religious persecution- its called the separation between church and state.

Again, did Sarah Palin have a malicious intent when she stated the current President is running with terrorists?

Even George W.Bush never stooped so low as to petty himself with threatening law suits. Dick Cheney admitted gay marriage is acceptable being his kid is allowed to love whomever she wants and to spend time with that person-together.

Sorry Honey- nobody hates you personally, it would difficult being your private life is no ones business anyways. Get over yourself, the people that don't like it and you, don't based on their own feelings- like it or not.

    Actually, Craig, it all depends on what the sign said that they were holding. I saw a woman in a pic from WPB, FL wearing 'Obama ears.' There were signs and hats and t-shirts that did have racist sayings. Those who were there for the true T.E.A. party protest were not (necessarily) nuts or racists. It is a shame that on our nation's birthday thay could not celebrate the great things about our country and protest on another day. But that was their choice. Does that make them un-American? No. Does it make the rest of us who did not attend the T.E.A. parties un-American? No.

    And while I wish Sarah Palin would shut up or get out of the news, I also want Michael Jackson to be buried already and I want people to quit trolling and I want my tomatoes to grow, and world peace, spay and neuter your pets...:-)
